Found SF

Found SF is one of THE best websites on SF Cultural History. I strongly encourage you to do web research, things you can take off from, jumping off points, for your course research, and even just look around in order to form your own unique relation to this course. There is a wealth of historical and social information, much of it not available in standard history textbooks.

You can search for articles and information you never knew you were missing or needed to know by Decade, Neighborhood / Geography, Population, or Theme.

Just now, in browsing the site to write this post, I came across Randy Shaw’s 1996 essay, “Creation of Homelessness
